An Edwardian gem in the very heart of Sheringham

Ideally situated but a stone’s throw from the beach & the quintessentially British shops & restaurants

“I have lived in Norfolk all my life. It inspires me, the sea, the limitless skies, the mud and the burning sunsets and the freedom of a place where more than 50% of the neighbours are fish.” Raffaella Barker

Your B&B looks absolutely lovely! I have had occasion to look up lots of places to stay in the UK. A lot of the time, the photos give me a sinking feeling and your place is the absolute opposite.

An Ideal Location

B&B@No2 is situated on Morris Street, right in the heart of Sheringham – you really couldn’t get much closer to the boutique shops, charming cafés, friendly & quirky restaurants and beautiful blue flag beach.

We have private parking for 2 cars, allocated at the time of booking for the duration of your stay, and there is plenty of free, on-street parking nearby.

There are lots of places to explore by car – historical homes, beautiful gardens, stunning beaches – all within striking distance.

And if you’d rather leave the car behind or park up for the duration of your stay, Sheringham has good rail and bus links to Norwich, the most complete medieval city in the UK and the only English city in a National Park, the Norfolk Broads. Renowned for, among other things:

  • Colman’s Mustard – since 1814
  • Alan Partridge – AHA! Steve Coogan plays the part of an inept broadcaster working for Radio Norfolk
  • Admiral Lord Nelson – Norfolk’s most famous son
  • Delia Smith – for her cookery skills and joint majority shareholding of Norwich City FC
  • Postcodes – they all began in Norwich!

And, the award winning Coasthopper bus service, running every 30 minutes in summer and every 60 minutes in winter, shadowing the Norfolk Coastal Path National Trail all the way along from Cromer to Hunstanton – you can alight this service at most significant points along the Path and make your way back to Sheringham through a wonderfully diverse landscape of sweeping sandy beaches, grass-tufted dunes, saltings, reed beds, creeks and tidal inlets.
